The illegitimate law!
The legislation about the Shia women in Afghanistan which has been approved by the Karzai government in Afghanistan has become very critical and intolerable. In this law women should obtain permission his husband to leave his house and also husband can force her wife for physical intimacy after four days in a week even if she wants otherwise. Shia women in Afghanistan protested severely against it and at last the Top Shiite cleric Mohammad Asif Mohseni in Afghanistan defended their protest. He accused Western critics of "cultural invasion" and violating the very democracy they are promoting. Mr. Mohseni rejected Karzai law and added that husband and wife can make their time table of the private room and compulsion is not permissible in Islam.
The terms and condition of marriages are widely different among Shia Muslims and others, they can not give verbal tal’aq (divorce) and even in some condition women have also right to divorce his husband. The women have lot of rights that are especially reserved for the shia women. So in these conditions how the rape law can be forcefully imposed? It has no justification and many critics have smelled the cooking of vote bank in the rape legislation.
The Shia state law was debated by 249 members of the lower house, including 68 women, some of whom voted for the bill. It was then sent to the upper house. Even some lawmakers are baffled at the manner in which it passed. Due to total secrecy of the law, most members were unaware of its contents. Some voted in favor of it without knowing its contents.
It is not first time when Shia Muslims faced challenges in Afghanistan, rather history stands testimony to endless atrocities against them during the brutal Taliban rule.is it easy to forget the in human atrocities in mazar e sharif and bamiyan where Shia Muslims were killed and women were raped . More that ten thousand Shia and hanafi Sunni Muslims have been killed by Wahabi talibanies during their cruel regime was in power.. This situation is not only in Afghanistan but is relatively same in the neighboring country Pakistan, where the condition of Shia Muslims is not different. In parachinar, DI khan, gilgit baltistan, Quetta and in many other places, they have been cruelly targeted by Taliban. If we will go back to pages of history after Islam, after the demise of Prophet Mohammed (saw) the problem arose. Muawuiya led to kill Ali and his son yazid killed Hussain, the grandson of prophet and son of Ali. The people divided into two parts one started to follow Muawuiya (king of Syria) and Shias and
Sunnis started to follow Ali and his household. During saddam’s period Shia people had been burnt alive; the mausoleums of the daughter of prophet and his grandsons have been destroyed by Saudi Arabian Wahabies (centre of Wahabi thought). But after Islamic revolution in Iran and later the constantly emergence of Shias in Lebanon, Iraq , Bahrain and in Pakistan and other parts of the world the Wahabies are feeling insecure and politically estranged, they are trying to consolidate this by issuing fatwas like that Shia Muslims are kafirs and Allah will reward those who will kill one Shia .
The Wahabies who are led by Saudi Arabia and escorted by Taliban have agenda of a global caliphate. They have literally started this goal in Kashmir and now in Pakistan where Shias are not interested in the separatist movements. That is why the mausoleums of Sufis and the prominent Shia people are similarly victim of Wahabi virus like other people of the world.
