Revered cleric Ayatollah Bahjat passes away

We regret to inform you of the sad demise of Iranian Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Hajj Sheikh Mohammad-Taqi Bahjatwho passed away in Dar-es-Salaam today, May 17.
Ayatollah Bahjat passed away at the age of 96 at the Vali-e-Asr Hospital in the city of Qom on Sunday.

Born in the northern Iranian city of Fouman in Guilan Province, Ayatollah Bahjat was among one of the most revered Iranian clerics whose religious decrees were followed by many Shia Muslims.
Ayatollah Bahjat was among one of the most revered Iranian clerics whose religious decrees were followed by many Shia Muslims. He was well-known for his piety and the strict observance of the principles of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence).

Sura-e-Fateha is kindly requested.
